| 2. Indications | For the treatment of chronic constipation and faecal congestion. |
| 3. Dosage | Chronic constipation. Adults: 1 packet once, 2-3 times a day. Elderly: 1 packet a day is recommended initially, then adjust the dose as required. Most laxatives are not recommended for continuous use. Usually a course of treatment with this product should not exceed 2 weeks and may be repeated if necessary. Faecal congestion: no more than 3 days. Adults (including the elderly): 8 sachets a day, to be taken within 6 hours. In patients with faecal congestion with cardiovascular disease, it is advisable to take no more than 2 sachets per hour in divided doses; patients with faecal congestion or chronic constipation with renal dysfunction do not require a change in dosage. Dissolve each packet in approximately 125 ml of water and stir well. For the treatment of faecal congestion, dissolve 8 sachets in 1 litre of water. |
